My name is Nijolė .
( pronounced Nee-yo-ley )
I’ve been an avid quilter for the past 6 years, inspired particularly by award winning quilters like Nelly Vileikis (ArtelasQuilts.com) and Philippa Naylor (PhilippaNaylor.com). Their stunning work and unwavering attention to detail led me to study their techniques in person at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Ohio, as well as the International Quilt Festival in Texas.
For me personally, the process of choosing environmentally-friendly products, arranging fabrics, colors and designs, piecing together the materials and finally quilting the layers together is all a true labor of love. Besides the items that you’ll find now for sale on this website, I look forward to creating and adding a variety of artful baby and toddler quilts, adult lap quilts, bed quilts, decorative table toppers & placemats, pillow covers, wall hangings and more with the sincere hope that the joy I feel with the artful process will transform into much happiness for the recipients.
